Before enrolling your dog into our residential training program, please read our terms and conditions in full. By enrolling your dog into our residential dog training program, you acknowledge and agree to our following terms and conditions.

Residential Dog Training Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement and Acceptance

By enrolling your dog in our residential training program, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Scope of Services

We will provide residential dog training services as agreed upon and specified in the training program. This may include obedience training, behaviour modification, socialisation, and other training techniques. Our trainers will make reasonable efforts to achieve the desired results, but the success of training depends on various factors, including the dog's temperament and willingness to learn.

When it comes to training animals there is no guarantee of success and in some cases, a small number of dogs/behaviours cannot be fixed so therefore we then have to concentrate on managing the dog's environment. We will always do our best to help but in some circumstances ie the severity of the case, how long the behaviour has been left for, genetics ect it's just not possible.

3. Dog Eligibility

Only dogs that meet the following criteria are eligible for our residential training program:

a) Dogs must be at least 16 weeks old, up-to-date on vaccinations, and in good overall health.

b) Aggressive dogs or dogs with a history of aggression may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and we reserve the right to refuse training if we deem it unsafe or unsuitable.

4. Training Process

a) Duration: The duration of the training program will be agreed upon during the initial consultation and may vary depending on the specific needs of the dog.

b) Training Methods: We use a balanced approach to dog training. Our trainers have over 15 years of experience working with a variety of working and pet dogs.

c) Progress Updates: We will provide regular updates on your dog's progress during the training period, including photos, videos, and written reports as agreed upon.

5. Owner Responsibilities

a) Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete information about your dog's health, behaviour, and any relevant history, including medical conditions, allergies, and previous training.

b) Veterinary Care: You are responsible for ensuring that your dog is up-to-date on vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and any required medical treatments. Your dog also needs to be insured.

c) Payment: Payment for the residential training program must be made in accordance with the agreed-upon terms. Failure to make timely payments may result in the termination of training services.

d) Follow-Up Training: Following the completion of the residential training program, you may be required to attend follow-up training sessions to reinforce the learned behaviours and continue the training process at home.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

a) Cancellations by Owner: If you decide to cancel you must give us 14 days' notice or the £200 deposit will not be refunded as this means we won't have time to fill the kennel that you secured.

b) Cancellations by Trainer: In the event that we are unable to continue training due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a pro-rata refund for any unused training days or make alternative arrangements, as mutually agreed upon.

7. Liability and Indemnity

a) We will take reasonable care and precautions during the training process. However, we cannot be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur to your dog, yourself, or third parties during or after the training period.

b) You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your dog.

8. Food.

Food needs to be provided for your dog's stay. We like your dog to continue on the food they are comfortable eating. This stops an upset tummy and a happy dog is better to train than a dog that doesn't feel 100%. If this is difficult then we can supply the food at an extra cost that will need to be paid prior to your dog training.

9. Complaints.

All complaints must be made through our email address [email protected]. Please allow up to 7 days for a reply. We take all complaints seriously and before we can reply we have to investigate internally.
